Dear Clinical Faculty,
We are excited to provide an opportunity to all of you to participate in interviews for undergraduate Teacher Education Program Early Childhood and Elementary candidates.
We believe that the wealth of experience in education you would bring to this process would provide potential teacher education candidates with invaluable insight into the qualities necessary to become a successful beginning teacher.
Your participation in these interviews will provide students with an excellent model of how public schools and universities can work together in partnership to prepare future educators.
Training Session Dates (to discuss the policies and procedures we use to assess undergraduate candidates for the Teacher Education Program):
* Wednesday, January 28th, 2009 4- 6 pm
* Monday, February 2nd, 2009 10 - 12 pm
* Wednesday, February 4th, 2009 4 - 6 pm
Interview Opportunities:
* Monday, February 9th, 2009 anytime 8-8 pm
* Tuesday, February 10th, 2009 anytime 8-8 pm
* Wednesday, February 11th, 2009 anytime 8-8 pm
* Thursday, February 12th, 2009 anytime 8-8 pm
* Friday, February 13th, 2009 anytime 8-8 pm
Interviews take approximately 30 minutes per candidate and we ask participants to commit to interviewing at least four candidates. We will do our best to schedule student candidate interviews on your preferred days and times.
